Donating Money

The Deer Park Opportunity Center serves a very specific set of constituents. We believe in "a hand up not a hand out", and as such typically our team acts in a position of "last resort" after all other avenues of assistance have been exhausted.  We work with our team of resources who meet with each recipient of our aid and 100% of funds are used to impact those that are in true dire need.

If you feel moved by the causes the Deer Park Opportunity Center promotes and want to make a direct impact in the lives of young people and their families, we would very much appreciate your support. Set up your donation to the Deer Park Opportunity Center today. It’s easy and most importantly, it will make a major difference in the lives of so many who are in need of help. Join our network of professional service providers that volunteer their time and expertise to help those in need. Following our vetting process through either the City of Deer Park or by Deer Park Independent School District administrators we connect those most in need with our extensive network who often offer their services for either no fee or highly reduced rates. We are constantly looking to expand our reach so whether you are a dentist, optometrist, lawyer, counselor, or a general contractor we could always use a hand.

Recently Hurricane Harvey brought an unprecedented amount of property damage to the Houston area.  While many organizations exist to serve the greater population impacted, the Deer Park Opportunity Center is focused on our charter of providing local support to students and families of the Deer Park Independent School District (DPISD), employees of DPISD, and City of Deer Park employees.  This focus allows our team to concentrate the response and funding to a specific set recipients vetted by our local resources and network.

If you care to make a donation to those impacted by Hurricane Harvey and want to know exactly where your donation goes, please consider our organization. 100% of the funds we collect will go directly to individuals and families our team identifies as requiring additional assistance during this challenging time.
